ABOUT
The original project was to create an illustration to be used on tissue paper for the Starbucks Reserve Roastery shopping bags. From there, the design I created in-house for Starbucks has been used by multiple Creative Directors and Designers over the years, and has grown into a product collection as well as environmental graphics in their Shanghai and Tokyo locations. I’m so proud of this beautiful work I created for them and the legs it has had for their amazing brand.

The Art
I researched flora and fauna found in the key locations the Starbucks Reserve Roastery harvested their coffee beans from. From there, I drew each motif with a ballpoint pen, each one taking 2-4 hours a piece. Once complete, I put them in a repeating pattern.
